Benefits of Using Nationwide Road Markings
Thermoplastic is the ideal product to use for road markings as it dries on contact and meets the performance requirements of BS EN 1436. As a result, it reduces the level of disruption caused to road users.
MMA Cold Plastic is a relatively new product and may be applied to tarmac and has excellent adhesion to concrete surfaces. It is more expensive than thermoplastic but is harder wearing. MMA Cold Plastic road markings are extremely hard wearing and are ideal for areas such as busy road junctions, yellow boxes and stop/yield locations and pedestrian crossings.

Line Removal
We use three types of line removal to eliminate unwanted lines.
Black Out Paint
This is the simplest method of line removal however this method is indefinite but can last up to 4 years depending on traffic volume. A black paint is applied to cover any existing line marking, this method is perfect for small car parks and temporary measures.
Scabbing
It can be used on most road surfaces including tarmac and concrete surfaces. This road line removal method grinds and planes away the unwanted road markings and is effective however leaving a small surface scar behind.
Hot compressed air (Thermal lance)
This method and uses propane gas and compressed air, combining the two creates a powerful burning result at extremely high temperatures.
